Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on reaching deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues in the body. It is designed to alleviate chronic tension, muscle knots (also known as adhesions), and areas of muscular discomfort. Deep tissue massage therapists use techniques that involve applying firm pressure and slow strokes to target specific muscle groups and tissues. Upon booking, choose a 60 or 90 minute "Combination" and we will discuss the amount of pressure you would like to receive.

Please consult your physician that massage is safe to receive if you have an injury or are within 8 weeks of a surgical procedure. Hydration: After a deep tissue massage, it's advisable to drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins released from the muscles during the massage.
